The water temperature of 28 °C is the highest allowed for swimming pools. For comparison — the sea in Croatia or Crete reaches at most around 26 °C in August. So the water here is even warmer.
On the other hand, do not expect the temperature of whirlpools or thermal spas. More sensitive individuals may need a bit of cold resistance :)
From our experience, children usually have no problem with the temperature.
For small children, there is an underwater “bench” about halfway through the pool, allowing them to keep their head above water. This means that even the youngest ones can enjoy the pool. Once they get used to it, they don’t mind not being able to touch the bottom. Parental supervision is essential!
Children under 1 year old are, by law, not allowed to enter public swimming pools. The smallest children must wear swim diapers.
The water quality in the pool is monitored by the Regional Public Health Authority. We are required to meet the same strict water quality standards as public regional swimming facilities. An accredited laboratory regularly performs chemical and biological safety tests of the water according to regulations for public swimming pools.
